For hybridation, for the love of sound
The Swiss French collectives of experimental improvised music

This text is the result of Antonin Servière’s enquiry into the French part of Switzerland: several collectives (Insubordinations, Matka, Rue du Nord, Vortex) gather composers and performers and form several hubs defending a both unorthodox and avantgardist view of musical condition, with an accent on “sound”, electro-acoustics, and improvisation. Servière engages into these universes so as to unearth, in a first pioneering gesture, their singularities.
